Every child is beautiful and unique no matter what form they come in. They are meant to be loved and cherished.
Some children come to the world in a unique form that leaves them with a lot of attention.
Catalina and Virginia are twin girls that graced the world in 2018 in Argentina. They had the whole world hooked because of their eye-catching snow-white hair.
Jorge Gomez and his wife couldn’t wait to hold their bundle of joy and were anticipating the arrival of the twin girls. They never knew their babies will get a lot of attention.
Mrs. Gomez during her regular checkups was informed that she expecting a twin and that was the biggest news for her.
The couple had a son already and the twins coming into the family were going to be just the perfect complete family.
Jorge told a local newspaper, ”When they gave us the news that we would have two babies, it gave us a lot of happiness and when they were born and we saw that they were albinos, that happiness did not change at all. For us it is a blessing.”
Thankfully, she didn’t have any complications and everything went accordingly. The twin girls were born prematurely at 36 weeks, but their weight was healthy. Catalina was born first and weighed 5.95 pounds while Virginia came two minutes later and weighed 5.5 pounds.
The twin girls, Catalina and Virginia came into the world with heads covered in milky white hair and no one in their family had such a rare trait. As the doctors laid their eyes on them, they were speechless and they knew the girls will become a sensation.
The girls were born with Albinism and they became the first set of albino twins born in Argentina. It was a rare genetic disorder, but their parents didn’t feel indifferent about them and welcomed them wholeheartedly.
Jorge told LV12, “When they gave us the news that we would have two babies, it gave us a lot of happiness and when they were born and we saw that they were albinos, that happiness did not change at all.”
Safety measures have been taken for their well-being as they lack pigmentation in the skin hence very sensitive to UV light.
The girls are four years today and they look better than yesterday.
They look so unique in their way and their parents are bent on showing the world that all babies deserve to be loved and cared for no matter what form they come in.
