Kate Middleton explains why Prince Louis was excluded from the family day

One of the most iconic tennis competitions in the world, if not the most, is Wimbledon. There isn’t a tennis event in the world where a player wants to win more, and it’s perhaps the last one with sufficiently stringent dress codes. Additionally, because it is performed in London, the royal family always attends the last weekend.

Prince George attended the big day with his parents for the first time last year. It features his mother, Princess Kate, presenting the prize to the victor in a number of categories. Princess Charlotte had the chance to attend and view the championship game from the royal box for the first time this year. However, one young youngster was missing.

At the Wimbledon final for men, Prince Louis was not present in the royal box at centre court. However, it was later discovered that Prince William and Princess Kate had made a difficult choice, which infuriated the young prince.

April marked Prince Louis’ sixth birthday. The young prince has quickly emerged as one of the most well-liked young royals in the eyes of the general people, trailing only his two brothers, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and father, Prince William, in the line of succession.

Pictures of him pulling funny faces and engaging in other ‘controversial’ behaviour after accompanying his family on several royal outings have amused the public. Even his mother, Kate Middleton, has been observed telling him to act properly on occasion.

Of course, whether they are royal or not, children will always be children. Like his siblings and relatives, Prince Louis engages in all the activities that kids enjoy, including the occasional bit of outburst.

The Wimbledon tennis tournament is a yearly event for Prince William and Princess Kate. The storied competition is the oldest tennis competition in the world and is frequently regarded as the most prestigious. It was first played in 1877.

Since several years ago, Princess Kate has presented the trophy to the victor, and in 2022, they first took their eldest son, Prince George, along. Princes Charlotte’s turn to make a big arrival in the royal box at centre court for the championship game this year. But there was still one person missing.

Sadly, his parents made the decision when Prince Louis was nowhere to be found. Probably because it lasts longer than three hours and requires extreme stillness, as well as because it may not be the best location for a young, restless prince to be, the little prince was deemed too young to attend the Wimbledon final.

The future king and Kate have played a lot of tennis together, and the eight-time Wimbledon champion and tennis legend Roger Federer has even given George a private lesson. Now, Louis seems to have inherited his older brother’s intense passion for the game. He had practised being a ball boy, according to Kate, only to learn he wouldn’t be joining the rest of the group.

It’s safe to say that he was dissatisfied with it.
