Despite the fact that we regularly tell our kids that they should never make fun of someone for their appearance, they frequently bully others because of their appearance.
New Zealander Evan Hill struggled to deal with how his peers regarded him. Because of his enormous front teeth, which were the target of bullying, he was called “rabbit boy” and other derogatory terms. Not only did it make him a target of bullying, but it also made it difficult for him to completely close his mouth.
His parents were aware of the struggles their son was through, but they were powerless to help because they lacked the funds for an operation.
Evan’s problems weren’t known to the public until a magazine decided to publish his story, which caused sympathy for him. Strangers who had never met him were so moved by it that they started a fundraising effort to assist him in raising the funds he needed to transform his life.
Evan’s mother told Newshub, “I don’t know where we would have been today without the generosity we had.”
To support the good cause of giving a little youngster a sense of self-worth, hundreds of individuals gave.
There was money left over after the surgery was paid for, so Evan’s family decided to donate it to a nonprofit that helps kids who can’t afford surgery.
The change is amazing in every way. Evan now appears to be a brand-new boy who is content with his appearance.
