Olivia Archbold, 14, is shy at first, but once she starts singing the words to ‘In The Arms Of An Angel,’ she has everyone in awe. Simon Cowell is among them!
Olivia Archbold is a teen who aspires to be a celebrity.
“I don’t think about anything else from the moment I wake up. I’ve just started singing “she reveals in an interview “I’ll be singing as I walk down the stairs. Perhaps I was sitting in math class thinking, ‘I wonder if in 5 years I could be an actual star performing on stage in front of millions of people.’”
And this young lady is pursuing her ambitions by auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent. She’s brought her two sisters and parents with her, and they’re all backstage cheering her on as she performs the words to ‘In The Arms Of An Angel’ for the judges.
“I believe she will have to overcome her nerves, and if she does, I believe she will demonstrate that she truly can sing,” Olivia’s mother says.

Piers then adds his voice: “Olivia, I think what I like best about you is that you don’t realize how good you are. But when you came on, you were shy and humble, and then you sang absolutely beautifully.”
Then Simon makes a remark about Olivia’s audition. “You’re so nervous, Olivia,” he remarks as he notices her trembling on stage. “But you sang it so well, and it became your own version of the song. Olivia, I am so impressed with you.”
